Yesterday we braved the cold & went out Christmas tree shopping. Though we did stop on the way for a quick cup of hot cocoa. Mmmm....
We only had to look at a few trees before we found the perfect one! Got it loaded it in Daddy's truck & headed home.
We brought it in the house this evening & decorated. The kids had a BLAST, it was so much fun. Their favorite part was when Daddy would lift them up to put ornaments (or almonds, as Paul calls them ;) on the high branches.
It turned out beautiful. I can't wait to wake up tomorrow to the smell of pine filling the house. The stockings will soon be hung & we'll be ready for gifts under the tree. It's going to be a wonderful Christmas! Hope you're all getting in the holiday spirit as well. :)
