Sunday night we went down to Chelsey & Bryan's house for dinner. We had wonderful sandwiches & conversation. (yes, it's possible with 4 kids running around) We went out back afterwards and threw the baseball around. The weather was perfect. Very surprising for late June in Virginia.
The house looks great! In the words of their realtor, "They've added so much value to this house!" The kitchen that Mom painted looks wonderful, the bathroom is finally all pink and no more hideous carpeting. Most of all, the hardwood floors are gorgeous! Who knew such beauty could hide under so many layers of nastiness! The kitchen is so cute, they have a bay window I'm very jealous of, and the blue on the walls in the living room may be my favorite color of blue. Ever. No, I didn't take pictures of all of this. *kicking self* That will have to be at another visit. Their backyard is mostly fenced and shaded. Big pluses! There is a huge tree (I don't know what kind it is) in the middle that provides shade for most of the yard. Then, I spotted a magnolia tree on the edge of their property. Oh, yes, it is gorgeous, smells wonderful and apparently blooms sporadically during the summer. Anyway, we had a great time! Thanks for having us Chels & Bry!
