Grandpa Great's Surgery

Dear Family,
I just wanted to give you an update on Grandpa Bowen's surgery. I spent the day at the hospital today along with Aunt Vicki, Aunt Debbie, and Grandma while they operated on Grandpa's shoulder. It was much worse than they thought and they had to do a lot of repair. He had a large tear and they had to sew it together and then anchor it to the bone. It took over two hours in surgery. They said it will take a good 12 weeks of recovery. He has to have his arm strapped to his chest of 6 to 8 weeks. Please everyone take the time to send him a card and tell him you are praying for him. It will mean a lot to him.
