Today was the day!!! Mairyn began Year 1 (kindergarten) and Eliza began Year 3 (2nd grade). Mairyn has the same teacher Eliza had for Year 1; Mrs. McInroy. Eliza's teacher is Mrs. Hawkins. They both had a great first day. Eliza said that they did numeracy on the computer and not on paper. Mairyn was just thrilled to be there, really. I asked her what she did and she told me about snack, recess and then lunch, which are the really important parts of the day.
